Ambi is an ambient noise generator designed to aid relaxation and concentration by masking extraneous noise. Unlike many apps that use looped audio recordings, Ambi generates a unique blend of noise that never repeats, using 4 algorithmic noise generators. The mix can be altered to taste by manually dragging the sphere on the mix tab, or randomised automatically by enabling 'motion'. Reverb is available for an increased sense of depth, while the 8 band graphic equaliser lets you sculpt the audio output to your taste. There is the option, via an in-app purchase, to access the built in timer, to automatically switch off the sound after a given time, and user presets, to create, edit and save your favourite settings.
